We are an open-source shop looking for a sharp reliable PHP developer to bring some cowbell to our new web applications for the telecom industry.
You have:
• Mastery of PHP and MySQL with at least 3 years of production experience
• Good knowledge of at least one of the PHP frameworks Symphony or Cake
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, XHTML/CSS, preferably with experience with either Prototype or jQuery
• Experience with SOAP/WSDL/REST-based web services
• Experience with Unit testing
• Experience optimising code and database for performance
• A track record of developing and deploying medium to large-scale web apps
• Experience with source code management systems (preferably SVN)
• Solid working knowledge of Unix (preferably Linux).
• A self motivated can-do attitude
• good written communication skills, a creative mind, and a feverish attention to detail
