Propel Criteria Builder 
Some while ago I built a simple Propel Criteria builder utility that (tries to) convert simple SQL where clauses into Propel 1.2 PHP syntax. I intend to do much more work on it, but for the time being despite its early alpha state, it should still be useful for beginners looking to see how to build nested AND/OR queries.
It's not officially open source, but I am happy to send a tarfile to anyone interested in improving it, or seeing how the parser works.
